CleverCore Business (“CleverCore,” “we,” “us”) provides bookkeeping and back-office services to small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through getclevercore.com and while working for our clients, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • When you contact us: your name, email address, and anything else you choose to include, such as your phone number, business name and message.
  • When you subscribe: your name, business name, email, phone and billing details. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • While we work for you: the financial records we need to do the job, such as transactions, invoices, receipts and reports in your QuickBooks account, plus the requests and files you send us.
  • When you visit the website: our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability. The site doesn’t use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

How we use it

  • To answer your questions and provide the services you sign up for
  • To bill you and manage your subscription
  • To send you updates about your account and the work we’ve done
  • To keep our systems secure and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use your financial data for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business, and only for that purpose. They include Stripe (payments and billing), Intuit QuickBooks (the accounting software you give us access to), Hostinger (website hosting and email), and the tools we use to manage client requests and send walkthrough videos. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Access to your accounting data

We connect to QuickBooks through its official accountant access. You never share your password with us, and you can remove our access at any time from your QuickBooks settings. We use this access only to do the work you’ve asked for, and we keep your financial information confidential.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as we need it to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. After that we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

How we protect it

We use secure, encrypted platforms for sharing files and messages, limit access to the people doing your work, and never ask for your passwords. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you non-essential emails. Email marc@getclevercore.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. Some records may need to be kept to meet legal obligations.

Children

Our services are for businesses and aren’t directed to anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we’ll let active clients know by email.
